Ditsy Owls Jewellery

Hello!
Today is a review of a little jewellery and accessories shop called Ditsy Owls. Ditsy Owls sell unique and handmade jewellery, hair bows and other accessories on their Etsy shop. The lovely girls who own the shop, Khanada and ES, sent me out some items to review for them.

1// Set of 2 hair bows £3.50  2// Pink grapefruit stud earrings £1.00
3// Silver Eiffel tower earrings £2.00

This is what I received from the girls, 2 hair bows and 2 pairs of earrings. I didn't manage to get a picture of the packaging because I ripped it open in excitement, but the parcel was wrapped up so pretty and I also got a handwritten note which I thought was very sweet. Onto the pictures anyway!

I've never worn a hair bow before so was unsure of where/how to use them but I eventually decided on using them as a bun decoration. I think they look so adorable and are perfect for the summer. I reckon I'll be wearing these a lot because my hairs so boring and these are just an effortless way to jazz it up a bit. There are loads of different designs on Ditsy Owls' Etsy site so if these ones aren't particularly your style then I'm sure there will be some on there that you like.

This is what the earrings look like worn. The pink grapefruit earrings are like a hard plastic material with a silver metal stud,  they stock all different types of fruit and even googly eye versions! So cute and the neon colours are very on trend for this summer. The Eiffel tower earrings seem to be very well made too, I've worn them a couple of times out and have had no problems so for £2 I cant fault these at all. In fact I cant fault any of the items Ditsy Owls sent me, they're all really well made and such a bargain!

If you like the Items I've reviewed you can visit Ditsy Owls' Etsy shop here, view their facebook page here and follow them on instagram @ditsyowls.

Hope you like this review :)

P.S. Got an exciting giveaway coming soon so keep your eyes peeled!

** I was sent these items free of charge for review purposes. However this does not sway my opinion.

Idollina festival style

Idollina

I discovered these bracelets by Idollina about a year ago when I won a stack of four bracelets in one of their competitions. Below is the stack that I won. I love the bracelets they're really good quality and the beads are a lot heavier than I expected. I've worn them at least twice a week since I've won them and they're still in perfect condition. I've also had a LOT of people asking where I got them from and telling me they love them, and I've ended up buying most of my girl friends and my Mum some for Christmas.

They have a section just for edgy festival stacks (here) which are bang on trend for this summer. These are just two of my favourites;
Summer festival stack - Pastels
Summer festival stack - Boho 1

Pastel Festival Stack £18.50                                              Boho Festival Stack £16.50

They also sell stacks of 2,3,4 & 5 bracelets and also single bracelets which you can customise and decide exactly what colours you want and also add charms/words to your bracelets. There are over 10,000 variations of bracelets you could choose from. I've decided I need to add a couple more to my collection so I will be buying these two (below) as soon as I'm finished with this post (yay!) .
Cream skull bracelet £4                                                           White love bracelet £4
Brilliant white classic 'Shakespeare' with pink letter cubes - 8 words to choose from
Cream all skull bracelet

Idollina regularly run competitions on their Twitter and Facebook pages so I would reccommend following/liking them. They are currently running a competition for bloggers which you can found out how to enter here.
What do you think of Idollina's bracelets?

My Favourite Summer Lipsticks

The weather these past few days has been gorgeous so I've been digging out my floral dresses and sandals and attempting to look girly. As I've been getting ready I've noticed I'm seriously lacking in pink lipsticks/glosses, more than lacking actually I've never bought one. So naturally I went on a hunt round town and decided on these two:

My photo's really don't do the colours any justice I'm afraid. The Topshop lipstick is a really bright neon-ish pink and would be great to wear on a night out. It glides onto your lips really easily and stays on your lips for a long time before it needs reapplying, I love it and its such a bargain for £8.
The only way I describe the colour of the Natural Collection Lipstick is kind of a dirty pink, the doesn't sound very nice but honestly the colour is lovely and very subtle. It would look brilliant as an 'every day' lipstick as it's a very natural colour. The only problem with this lip stick is it doesnt stay on your lips for very long, it need's reapplying at least every hour. However, for £1.99 I cant really complain.

What are your favourite summer lipsticks?

Embellish Nail Caviar

This is just a super quick review. I know I haven't posted in a while I've just been really busy preparing for the exams that I have coming up next week :(.

I was never really sure about the 'Nail Caviar' trend and having only come across Ciate's version I was pretty sure I was never going to try it as they cost £10+. Anyway, I recently came across Primark's version of the stuff 'Embellish Pearl beads' (pictured below) and for £2.50 I thought I'd give it a go.

I went for the pink one as my wardrobe is literally FULL of pink. Unfortunately the Nail Polish that it comes with is an ugly sparkly silver and reminds me of something you'd get in a kids make-up set so I decided to pair the Caviar with Essie's 'Off the Shoulder' (here) which is a similar pink to the beads. I basically just poured all of the beads into a bowl, put some nail varnish on my nail, dipped my finger into the bowl and then finished off with a few coats of Nail's Inc's Albert Bridge Topcoat (here).

So these are my finished nails. I'm still not entirely sure what I think of them, I might try a different colour, but they work great and have stayed on for quite a while now. I definitely think they're worth £2.50 because I'm sure they work just as well as the more expensive versions.

Have you tried Nail Caviar? What do you think?
