Kukee Jewellery

Just before Christmas I entered a giveaway on twitter by a company called Kukee and I won a £5 voucher to spend on their website. I have actually ordered from Kukee before (post here) and loved the fact that their products were such good quality but cheap at the same time, so of course I was chuffed when I won.

There was one item that really stood out to me and I knew I had to have them as soon as I saw them. It was these adorable 'I love you to the moon and back' bangles (sold out but similar here). I just think they are so cute and understated and I have had loads of compliments from friends.
'I love you to the moon and back' bangles - £6 (sold out but similar here)
And secondly I got these Art Deco style earrings (also sold out). I think they're so sweet, and completely different to anything I'd usually wear. I've worn these almost every day since they arrived, they go with every outfit!

Art Deco Square Earrings - £1.50 (sold out)

Kukee currently have an offer on their site where everything is £2.50 or under, how good is that!?

Would love to read some jewellery posts so please leave a link below if you have posted any!
Happy Sunday!

Ditsy Owls Jewellery

Hello!
Today is a review of a little jewellery and accessories shop called Ditsy Owls. Ditsy Owls sell unique and handmade jewellery, hair bows and other accessories on their Etsy shop. The lovely girls who own the shop, Khanada and ES, sent me out some items to review for them.

1// Set of 2 hair bows £3.50  2// Pink grapefruit stud earrings £1.00
3// Silver Eiffel tower earrings £2.00

This is what I received from the girls, 2 hair bows and 2 pairs of earrings. I didn't manage to get a picture of the packaging because I ripped it open in excitement, but the parcel was wrapped up so pretty and I also got a handwritten note which I thought was very sweet. Onto the pictures anyway!

I've never worn a hair bow before so was unsure of where/how to use them but I eventually decided on using them as a bun decoration. I think they look so adorable and are perfect for the summer. I reckon I'll be wearing these a lot because my hairs so boring and these are just an effortless way to jazz it up a bit. There are loads of different designs on Ditsy Owls' Etsy site so if these ones aren't particularly your style then I'm sure there will be some on there that you like.

This is what the earrings look like worn. The pink grapefruit earrings are like a hard plastic material with a silver metal stud,  they stock all different types of fruit and even googly eye versions! So cute and the neon colours are very on trend for this summer. The Eiffel tower earrings seem to be very well made too, I've worn them a couple of times out and have had no problems so for £2 I cant fault these at all. In fact I cant fault any of the items Ditsy Owls sent me, they're all really well made and such a bargain!

If you like the Items I've reviewed you can visit Ditsy Owls' Etsy shop here, view their facebook page here and follow them on instagram @ditsyowls.

Hope you like this review :)

P.S. Got an exciting giveaway coming soon so keep your eyes peeled!

** I was sent these items free of charge for review purposes. However this does not sway my opinion.

What I bought #2

Helloo!

As I said in my last post I went to the Trafford Centre the other day with my boyfriend, so this is just a haul post so I can show you all what I bought :)

 1/ Blue floral bra - Asda £4 2/ Pink bra - Asda £4 (similar)
3/ Bleach ankle grazer jean - Dorothy Perkins £28

These are the clothing items I bought. I've gone up a bra size recently (finally) so treated myself to some new bras (that actually fit) from Asda. I've splurged out in the past on La Senza etc bra's but it does my head in when I spend like £20+ on a bra and love it, then when I put it in the wash it goes out of shape. I heard one of my girlfriends go on about how much she loved Asda bras and how comfy they are so thought I'd go for them this time. These two were only £4 each, I've worn and washed the blue one and it's amazingly comfy and hasn't gone out of shape yet so I can't fault them whatsoever. The jeans are just light denim ankle grazers that have a few rips down the leg, most of my jeans are either black or indigo so I went for some lighter ones for summer. They're stretch denim as well so hopefully they'll be comfy when it's warm.

 1/ Owl bracelet - Forever 21 £3.15  2/ Pastel pink cross necklace - Forever 21 £2ish
3/ Cosmetic brush set - Forever 21 £3.90

Next I went into forever 21 and picked up these three things. I've never seen any clothes in there that I like, I think some of the stuff looks really cheap for the price but that's just me, I'm super fussy about clothes. However, the jewellery is so nice and so cheap, it's like a better version of Primark! The quality is really good too the bracelet is really heavy and well made. For £3 it's an absolute bargain. I haven't worn the necklace yet, but I'm sure it'll be in an outfit post at some point this summer.
Also, I saw these cosmetic bushes by the till as I was paying for my jewellery. I kind of went off the quality of the jewellery, and assumed they'd be really good even though they were cheap, and I was so right. In the past I've payed around £7 just for a foundation brush (which is ridiculous, I know) and I'm gutted now I've discovered these. They're not the BEST quality but I always end up losing mine so I'd rather pay less.

1/ Revlon nearly naked powder in Fair - Superdrug £7.99
2/ Palmer's cocoa butter - Superdrug £1.50 (travel size)
3/ Look Fat Lips! lipstick in snog - Superdrug £6
4/ Revlon just bitten kissable balm in Rendez-Vous - Superdrug £7.99

Top - Revlon just bitten balm
Bottom - Look fat lips! balm

I saw Superdrug had 3 for 2 on all cosmetics so of course I had to buy something (or a few things!) I was first drawn to a brand I'd never hear of before 'Look' and I saw this tinted lip balm stick thingy, it kind of reminded me of the Clinique Chubby Sticks. I also wanted to try some Revlon make up as I've never owned any of their range either. I was drawn to their tinted lip balm too and when I saw this coral shade I couldn't resist buying it, seriously it's such an amazing colour. As you can see in the swatches (above) they're not like lipstick the colour is slightly transparent and really light, perfect for wearing every day.
After seeing the advert for the Nearly Naked foundation with Emma Stone in it I wanted to try their powder foundation, she looks absolutely gorgeous in it! I also just picked up this travel sized bottle of Palmers Cocoa butter near the till simply because it smelled like chocolate (oops!).

And that's everything I bought! Hope you liked my haul :)

Kukee Jewellery

I've wanted some midi/knuckle rings for aages! (I say this about everything, I know). I had a look for some in Topshop but I couldn't find any plain ones and the ones they did have were around £6, but I'm cheap and don't think I can part with £6 for just 1 ring haha! Then I remembered Kukee jewellery, I've bought a few things from them before, I love the shop because it's all really quirky and well made, but affordable at the same time. They do all sorts of jewellery starting from just £1. I only bought 2 things this time but thought I'd blog about them anyway.

 1/ 4 midi rings £4
2/ Friendship bracelet £1 (sold out)

**Nail Polish - Essie in Bikini So Teeny
I love the midi rings they're so simple but look really pretty at the same time. Also love how you can wear them with literally anything. Only downside I'd say is that they're pretty small, I don't have particularly fat fingers, in fact I'd say they were quite skinny, but I can only fit the rings on my pinky and 4th finger, and even then they're still quite tight. There's no option to buy a larger size either, which is slightly disappointing. I'll still wear them on my smaller fingers anyway so there's no money wasted! The bracelets just a basic thread friendship bracelet, I probably buy about 10 new ones every year because I like to wear several on my wrist and sometimes one on my ankle but I always seem to lose them!

What do you think of my purchases?

P.s. I contacted the winner of my giveaway but got no reply so I have contacted a second winner, please check your Emails because it could be you!

Idollina festival style

Idollina

I discovered these bracelets by Idollina about a year ago when I won a stack of four bracelets in one of their competitions. Below is the stack that I won. I love the bracelets they're really good quality and the beads are a lot heavier than I expected. I've worn them at least twice a week since I've won them and they're still in perfect condition. I've also had a LOT of people asking where I got them from and telling me they love them, and I've ended up buying most of my girl friends and my Mum some for Christmas.

They have a section just for edgy festival stacks (here) which are bang on trend for this summer. These are just two of my favourites;
Summer festival stack - Pastels
Summer festival stack - Boho 1

Pastel Festival Stack £18.50                                              Boho Festival Stack £16.50

They also sell stacks of 2,3,4 & 5 bracelets and also single bracelets which you can customise and decide exactly what colours you want and also add charms/words to your bracelets. There are over 10,000 variations of bracelets you could choose from. I've decided I need to add a couple more to my collection so I will be buying these two (below) as soon as I'm finished with this post (yay!) .
Cream skull bracelet £4                                                           White love bracelet £4
Brilliant white classic 'Shakespeare' with pink letter cubes - 8 words to choose from
Cream all skull bracelet

Idollina regularly run competitions on their Twitter and Facebook pages so I would reccommend following/liking them. They are currently running a competition for bloggers which you can found out how to enter here.
What do you think of Idollina's bracelets?
