Mac Vegas Volt Review

Hi girlies!

I went on a bit of a 'I've just got a new job and I'm so happy' splurge the other day and purchased my first ever mac items, which is so exciting! After about a week of deliberating I finally decided on Vegas Volt Lipstick and a Paint Pot in Painterly (which I will review seperately).

I've never really been a huge fan of lipstick because I think I've got really weird shaped lips and lipstick just tends to make them look even more odd, but when I saw swatches of Vegas Volt on a friends Facebook page I knew I just had to have it. Mac describes it as 'full power coral' and it really is. It's amplified creme, which as a newbie means absolutely nothing to me, but the texture of it is so lovely and it just glides onto your lips really easily.

As you can see it's really pigmented and you only really need one coat to get the full effect. I haven't worn this out yet but I've worn it indoors while eating and drinking and while there is a little bit of transfer it really didn't affect the colour on my lips.

Yeah £15 is pretty expensive for a lippy but for me it's worth spending it to find one that I like instead of spending £5 on drugstore ones that I never wear!

Overall I'm really impressed with Vegas Volt and it definitely won't be the last MAC lipstick I buy.

Today's gonna be a busy day so I've only got time to do a quick wishlist, that sounds awful I'm sorry but I've got to nip back to Liverpool for a meeting (booooo!). Anyway, this is my may wishlist! I've been reading a lot of peoples blogs recently who are subscribers to Glossybox and I find it so exciting that you get new beauty products delivered to your door every month! Especially as its so cheap, it's £10 per month (plus p+p) and I've seen some boxes where the value of the products inside is in excess of £50!

Pastels are very in this summer which is why I've added pastel pink Converse and a Pastel Lilac Zatchel to my wishlist. I currently only have black Converse which I absolutely LOVE, they literally go with any outfit and are sooo comfy so I've decided I want a summery pair too!

I'm still a huge fan of Ombre/Dip dyed hair. It makes a massive difference but isn't as drastic as bleaching the whole of your hair! I'm still undecided if I want Ombre extensions or whether to get my own hair Ombre'd, but I definitely want something doing, my hairs so plain!
